One photo of the plate, sent like a text to a friend. Your registered dietitian replies the same day with one suggestion - kind, specific, and never a lecture. No calorie counting, no apps to learn, no shame in either direction. Two weeks free, then decide.
◆Same-day replies from a real RD, six days a week
◆No apps, no counting, no public feeds
◆Works with restaurant plates as well as home ones
Writing down everything you eat is accurate for about eighteen days, then life happens. Photographing the plate takes four seconds and no honesty gymnastics - the camera is simply there, like a friend at the table who happens to be a dietitian.
And one suggestion at a time is the whole method. Not seventeen changes - one, chosen because it matters most for your labs and looks easiest to live with this week. Next week, the next one. It is slow the way good cooking is slow, and it compounds the same way.
The method
La pratique, en vrai
Four seconds, then a real reply.
The practice
Dietitians who reply like humans
Founder, RD
Dr. Alma Reyes
RD with a doctorate in nutrition behavior - the person who proved the practice's method in her dissertation. Replies to photos herself; the kindness is not an act.
RD
Peter Chou
Registered dietitian, restaurant-eating specialist. Sends back suggestions that begin "great plate" about 40% of the time, which clients find suspicious and then motivating.
RD
Gloria Nkemelu
Registered dietitian, cooking-for-one specialty. Her photo replies include what to add to the plate you already have, not the plate you were supposed to have.
Client care
Danny Fitzgerald
Onboards every client: how to send the photo, what a same-day reply looks like, and the quarterly progress review scheduling. Also guards the no-supplements rule.

How it works
From consult to Tuesday dinner

Send the first photo
Danny helps you send one plate photo the first day. The reply arrives the same day, from a person with a name.
02

The rhythm
A photo a day or when you think of it. One suggestion comes back - sometimes "great plate," which counts.
03
03
The four-week review
A video call with your RD: the patterns, the wins, the one thing to adjust. Plate photos from week one and week four, side by side.

The long game
Clients stay an average of nine months, then leave knowing the method. That is the goal - graduation, not dependence.
Client stories
What our clients say
"I have been lectured by professionals since my thirties. Dr. Reyes replies to my diner breakfast photo without sighing and suggests the fruit on the side. I have lost fourteen pounds and gained a person who treats me like an adult."
MF
Marion F. 64
"The restaurant-week suggestions were the surprise - Peter knows every menu within walking distance of Government Center. My blood pressure numbers and my lunch group both approve."
SL
Sy L. 58
"Cooking for one since Walter died, and I had quietly stopped eating vegetables. Gloria noticed from the photos before I said a word. The add-one-thing method put this kitchen back to work."

Frequently asked questions
One plate a day is the sweet spot; more is welcome, never required. The method works on partial data - we are looking for patterns, not prosecutions.
They are half our photos. Peter built the restaurant-reply specialty for exactly this: what to order, what to add, which local menus cooperate. Real life includes restaurants.
Photos go only to your RD over an encrypted thread; nothing is shared, posted, or used without your written okay. See the Privacy Policy - we wrote it in plain English on purpose.
Because we sell coaching, and our method does not need them. If your labs indicate a deficiency, we tell you and your physician - we do not sell you the bottle. This rule will never change.
Our replies suggest, they do not instruct - and about forty percent begin with "great plate." The method chooses the easiest change you can live with, not the hardest one we can name.
With your written okay, yes - we send the four-week reviews to your physician on request. Most doctors respond with genuine enthusiasm; some with requests we handle through proper channels.
